Andy and Sally Tompkins started Tompkins Joinery over 40 years ago, operating out of modest premises with nothing more than a basic tool kit and a few power tools. Over the years that followed, this family-run company has employed a large number of apprentices – the first of which was Colin Ballinger, who is now the company’s Managing Director, and continues to run a successful apprentice scheme today, something which remains integral to the heart of our operation.
Our team now consists of 17 members (as well as a family dog!) and our on-going expansion has led to 4 relocations – the last of which was in 2010 when we took up residence in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
