Technical Capabilities
There is no substitute for experience – and here at Tompkins Joinery we are fortunate to have a great team of people. Many joined us as apprentices and trained under the tutelage of the company’s founder, Andy Tompkins. Andy believes that any customer approaching us should be left in no doubt as to the quality of our technical abilities, and for over 40 years this attitude has exemplified what Tompkins stands for.
With a wealth of experience and knowledge of the trade, we pride ourselves on the fact that if your project is to be made out of timber – we are the right choice!
In many cases, manufacturing joinery products can be a very complex area and so our ability to anticipate customer requirements ahead of construction, gives them confidence in our team. To avoid potential pitfalls, we always allow time to discuss the project with our customers throughout the design stage – enabling us to provide the results our customers have come to expect.
Consultancy
From the moment we start working on your project, our friendly team will keep you informed of progress and will ensure that you have a positive experience with Tompkins, always receiving the service you deserve. We believe that this is a case of good old fashioned common courtesy.
No matter what size or level of complexity your project is, we always provide full project support to our customers. You can expect this from us, as outlined in our BWF Membership Code.
Design and Samples
We always produce two-dimensional Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings which are issued to customers at the beginning of every project. Once approved, copies are then supplied to the workshop for use as construction drawings ensuring we provide precisely what was expected.
If you wish to see 3D coloured drawings of your designs, these can be arranged at a small additional fee. Simply let us know your preferences at the outset of the project.
