Tompkins Welcomes New Apprentices

As there is finally some sign of coronavirus passing and there are less restrictions, here at Tompkins we look back at the three years of challenges and celebrate the strength of everyone who has been impacted. And times like these, there is nothing more important than the support of one another.

Tompkins Joinery had the pleasure of working with many apprentices, university students and graduates. Here we believe that the knowledge must be passed on to the future generations while creating the space for new ideas and growth.

Recently, Tompkins had the pleasure of welcoming two new apprentices enrolled in Coventry College who are studying Carpentry and Joinery. The two young gentlemen have been a big part of the team as they learn and get involved in the processes of making bespoke joinery, installations, maintenances and many more duties a joiner has.

“I have become a lot more confident as a joiner throughout my time at Tompkins. I have learnt a lot working along senior joiners like Scott. We also get an opportunity to work on sites and meet the client. There is a big variety of work we get involved in. Tompkins is a great place for that.” – Finley
